Brazilian Open Source Heros

From WebMink is high praise for the guys in Brazil who are localising Open Office into Brazilian Portuguese. I quite agree with the hero status in terms of the work involved but also for choosing to do this rather than try to invent their own native application.

This surely is the beauty of Free Software/Open Source that it can be available everywhere in languages people can understand (and typically on hardware they are more likely to be able to afford).
