Found after a comment on my Trikes FAQ are two postings on Measured Response first Monster the second Trailer Trash.
Basically we can see someone coming to their senses and realising that whaty the really really want is a Trike from ICE, in this case a Monster. Now that sounds sensible to me, I can identify with that need for speed (in comfort of course) and the desire to ride around all day wearing a big grin (not just a big grin ;-).
The Monster is certainly a great trike, my XXL provides a little more space for those of us who ought to be dieting. While the Meteor is a combination of both the extra space at the front but a 26" rear wheel. I would choose the XXL again though as it is easier to fit through doors and means you only carry one size of tube and tyre, also the rack is better for heavier loads. I am happier towing with a small wheel especially on a light trike as the small wheel is better able to copy with greater side loads. But I suspect the Meteor is slightly more comfortable on poor surfaces and a fair bit quicker on them too as it will have lower rolling resistance. Uphill in the wet the XXL should have slightly better grip as more weight will be on the wheel but probably not very different.
Anyway a great alternative to a car except in a large city where you want more height and to be able to ride as a bike rather than as a car.
Only thing is, I would go for a 2 wheel trailer with a trike maybe a burley nomad or vitelli camping trailer, the stability and easy of handling is much better.
