This Simon Willison: Eclipse download hell is so true, I have considered downloading Eclipse several times but
each time I have been put off by the pain of trying to work out what I actually needed.
Even if building all the autodetection sstuff is too hard then surely they could have a "Java programmers start with this" set of dowloads.
