I think I am going to need to try Nvu - The Complete Web Authoring System. If nothing else it might be helpful for a number of people who need weening off tools that don't support styles. See also Nvu 0.80 - Glazblog. Link from LWN: Nvu 0.80 Released (MozillaZine) (subscriber only for a week).

It is a long time since I tried bluefish, at that time it does not have style sheet support as good as this - but it could have moved on a long way since.
