I mentioned a while ago that my oldest son now had a proper weblog at ablog...
He now has 6 posts and he is already getting visitors (over 100 page views so far)! We looked at the typepad stats and found that he is already high up on some google pages. Look at these searches from today.
- jacey cashman (ranked 5)
- hOW FAST IS LIGHTNING (ranked 1 but I am sure it was not very helpful to the searcher ;-)
- gak brighton opening times (ranked 5)
- aerosmith cd's (ranked 1)
- Bohemian Rhapsody (ranked 6)
It does just show though that some companies still have a long way to go in terms of getting their search act together. The fact that such a tiny, new weblog could get this high on something like aerosmith cd's really surprised me.
Given that the typepad stats are still it's weakest feature I have added a free sitemeter to ablog - I think we now have a competition going, fortunately I have an 18month start ;-)
Anyway, you now know how to make a (just) teenager happy: just click ablog and leave him a (nice) comment or trackback.
