Christmas Planning

This evening I had a group around to start the planning process for Christmas.

As a Church Christmas is quite important to us (notice the subtle understatement). The meeting was very positive and I believe has set us going on a good path.

As a little experiment (caused in part by the Leadership teams comments on my handwriting when I used a flipchart), I used the laptop, projector and Writeboard for the agenda, notes and plans. That means that everything is available at Raunds Christmas (if you know the password).

In fact since then I have taken it one step further as we started turning this into more of a project plan. I have therefore setup a free account with basecamp and within that am creating a project for Christmas 2005.

Note that if you are a Church Member at Raunds and have not yet got access to these tools then just let me know.

One aspect that I need to explore is making this information work for some of our key people without internet access. I would love to have an internet terminal at the Church but my wifi signal does not go there (and no line of sight available for higher powered wifi), currently we don't have a phone line or broadband at Church.
