ChurchPA: Streaming Online Audio love the MP3 tools. Plus when I now find that you can get MP3 players for under £20 the idea of using these instead of tapes to distribute services to the house bound is getting a lot closer.
I am not so convinced by the Streaming Audio software (I need a linux version and something with a better website which actually has some detail). Of course free software is also better. The website does not make it clear whether the OS restrictions are just for the Flash preparation or also relate to the hosting. Given that FireFox now has around 10% of the market share I am surprised they don't mention supporting it.

On most servers streaming MP3s is as easy as adding a small text file, on my host (I believe a Linux box) the file name ends M3U and the text file includes simply the URL of the file to be played like this:
http://podbible.com/files/Mark/Mark_Chapter_1.mp3
That's all!
