On Sunday evening I was able to get to re:fresh, the experimental worship time at Raunds. This week Lucy had spent hours organising a Prayer Labyrinth.
I have taken some photos which highlight my lack of abilities in that direction. Still you can at least see the overall shape on the re:fresh page.
It was good to be able to get to re:fresh for the 2nd time as normally I am preaching elsewhere in Sunday evenings. We are planning ways to bring some of the fresh expressions of worship that happen at re:fresh to more of our Sunday morning congregation but more importantly to people in Raunds uninterested in more traditional worship.

I was sceptical about the labyrinth thing - until I tried it. Yours looks good: will it be differently themed each week?

You'll just have to pop over on one of the next Sunday afternoons and find out ;-) After all Raunds is the place to be this Christmas.
I am pretty sure the plan is to reuse the theme for Advent. Typically we get a quite a varied set of people to re:fresh so that will not be a problem. We are looking at something quite different (and larger scale) for a Sunday morning sometime next year.
re:fresh is a great place to try out worship that we feel unsure about. I am very fortunate to be in a Church that is so open to variations in worship.
