I thought I would take a quick look down memory lane and see what I was writing about in previous Januarys.
To be honest it does not seem as if January is a popular month for blogging for me.
In January 2005.
- 14th Why so silent?.
- 28th The Occupational Adventure (sm): The perfectionist definition of "good enough".
- 29th Agile Testing: Python unit testing part 3: the py.test tool and library.
- 29th Kingcycle update.
- 29th Best laid plans: Kingcycle update 2.
- 29th XMLStarlet Command Line XML Toolkit.
- 31st Coffee with wow factor.
- 31st Nine words are better than Eleven Words.
So 8 posts, around 1,600 visitors, 3,000 page views (Site Meter currently predicts approx 3 times this traffic for January 2006), 3 Comments and 5 trackbacks
I had categorised these posts as
In January 2004.

I had categorised the posts as
H'mm that was an enjoyable nostalgia trip, maybe I'll do it again sometime. I note that I am much more likely to use multiple categories now than I used to be. Also that I get more traffic now (although it varies a great deal according to frequency of posts and the number of links from The Daily Python-URL). I guess it is no surprise that having switched to being a Methodist Minister from September 2005 I now write more posts in the religion category.
