I am sorry to hear that - Adrian is the second person I've heard about in his age range this week, suffering this levelof pain and discomfort. Herpes Zoster can reoccur, I hope he can do good self care.

Sorry to hear it too. I know someone with shingles too and the kids down the street all have chicken pox. Must be going around.

Thanks guys for all your kind comments and prayers. I do appreciate it, and I appreciate the good natured way in which Dave and most if not all of his commentors can interact so graciously with me even when we seem to disagree on almost everything!
One day, dave and i should work up a statment of what (if anything!) we do agree on!! This is about all I can manage- typing whilst lying down in lots of pain isnt easy!!
