Compare these.
On the one side we have two posts:
First Archbishop of Canterbury - church needs to listen properly to the bible (the complete text is included some way down the page) hat tip Miter Tip: AKMA’s Random Thoughts and Williams says the Bible invites listening not dogmatism | Ekklesia.
Second: Sermons from Bideford 2006/07: God hates the world - not! Easter 3 (includes a lovely story from Archbishop Rowan about Bishop Desmond Tutu).
On the other hand we have just about everything recently written by Adrian Warnock on the Atonement. For example:
The Atonement - Should We Disagree With John Stott?
The Atonement - Wrong Ideas About the Cross.
On one side we have powerful messages written to glorify God and to unite Christians around the Easter story and Scripture. On the other we have attempts to do exactly the opposite.
I know which side echoes the Gospel text for Sunday best for me. That is John 21:1-19 which includes the restoration of Peter by the risen Christ.
