Well it might well not happen but it seems like the new Nexus One Phone - Web meets phone from Google would suit me really well as my next phone.
It would be especially great if I could use it on the 3 network that I am currently with. For me having high quality google calendar, gmail and integrated contacts for phone and email would be amazingly useful.
Looks like the best way of avoiding an iPhone (don't like the double monthly cost of the iPhone with less minutes and messages than I get now).
You don't have to wait for a Nexus - the Android phones you can get now are pretty good. I'm very happy with mine.

Sorry, I should have said. I went for the HTC Magic. On Vodafone, because that was the only network with it at the time. If I'd waited a couple of weeks (isn't it always the way?!) I could have got a Hero on Orange, which is my preferred network.
It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. Having those Google services in my pocket is very useful.
