Cycle for Privacy

The Independent: Britain will be first country to monitor every car journey is very worrying.

So now it is a good idea to cycle to increase privacy as well as for environmental and health reasons.

I think this is a very bad idea. It may help a few high profile cases but the costs are very high indeed.

Of course we are given no chance to vote or have any say on this. Pity we don’t live in a democracy.

And that is why I laughed till it hurt when I heard Mr Blair talk about exporting democracy. I just thought what of we had a pilot scheme of democracy introduced at home but perhaps we are not up to it.
